ok im confused if i have a smaller tire what does that do to my top speed?

the 400ex i bought has really small wheels and i have some bigger ones on the way.

smaller = more torque and lower top speed. You can fix that by going up a tooth on the front sprocket.

I usually run 20's on mine but I put 22's on and I definitely lost some low end and picked up top end Try this calculator out to see the difference in speed
