Dont psyche yourself out like that. I constantly pull up to the line against bigger/badder quads, but that doesn't mean squat when the gate drops. Just go out and have fun. I've seen nearly stock 400ex smoke full out 450Rs before... its all in the rider.

XC is all about the rider. I've seen many people on inferior quads stomp people on fully decked out machines. 50hp and Axis/Ars-fx suspension won't do squat for ya if you can't hold on to it for 2hrs. ;)

what class are you racing in neatv? i race 4 stroke b and maybe moving to A if i can keep my engine together this year. ITs not about your quad in neatv-mx we have plenty of production classes.

My dad rode my then nearly stock 300ex last year at the GNCC in St.Clairsville and he finished around 15 overall. He raced in the moorning but I figure he did pretty good being the last quad he raced or rode aggressively was a 250r back in like 1994 or so. If you have the heart and determination to do good it is possible to do good.

there is quite a few of fast guys that race ne atv in the A and pro classes but the other classes arent as fast as they might look, at least no faster than the local b and c classes around here

anyone have any ideas to kinda boost my confidence?and what do you guys/girls run for tires at jollys and mx207 or what ever its called

I run MXR4's. they are just the right tire for me. they are changing times this year so its all earlier i think and theres practics every saturday before the race so you can get to know the track. Just go out and have fun. i race youth 200/300 for a few years on a stock motored 300ex and it was fun. the blasters and 300exs are evenly matched in that class and most of the fastest people are moving up. there are some fast riders but there mostly out there to have fun. I moved up when i turn 16 and the bigger classes and they are just un real. alot of newby riders try and be the fastest and crash all the time. the real reason i moved up was that i was to big for my 300ex and im much faster on a bigger quad. For tech inspection just look around and ask. most people will tell you.come and hang out and we will help you out and get you threw the races.

Jollys and Mx207 are my favorite tracks too.
