i just got my z and in reverse it sputters when i give it throttle i'm guessing and hoping there is just a rev limiter in reverse?

yes there is, and it is so rediculously low i cant believe it! over on z400central they had a thread on how to disable it completly. dont worry though there isnt anything wrong with it.

what he said. thats just a rev limiter...it really sux cuz sumtimes its nice to be able to rev it a lot higher in reverse if your stuck or something. you'll find that on all the newer 4wheelers...

The link is below. I heard you have to be careful on this mod because I hear the A does over 20mph in reverse. Thats pretty quick backwards, and you can get into trouble if not careful.
