View Full Version : searching a topic? why answer just to tell to search?

i dont understand why if some one has a question and you obtain the knowledge to answer it but you dont. you say go search this or something. i understand sometimes if you dont actually know the info and your helping by saying do a search wich is fine. if everyone did searches there would be no forums to talk on because im sure just about every topic has been discussed a few times over, and everyone would just search and not make new forums. dont really know what im getting at just kind of venting because i just got a "well i know the answer to your question but i wont tell you go search" answer and it really makes me mad. what do you guys think i mean is it that hard to type the answer if you know it if your already typing an answer that doesnt help at all like go do a search.

only on things that are always asked like how to shave plastic theres one on every sport atv thread and they can just go to the how tos andfigure it out

like i said i understand some like both of you pointed out, some are deffinatly over talked about and should be searched but not everything. and why take the time to answer with do a search when just as easily you could have given the answer

i have everything finished but its all in pieces just have to go home and put it all together, cant wait. ill have a build thread once i finally get home to do it. its going to be nasty
