Sorry but aren't you the one that was really interested in buying my crf 450 then never contacted me to let me know what was going on. Last I knew, your dad was out of town for a week and then you were coming to get the CRF. Well I never saw you,Just like I would never see you for this CR500. I try to be as nice as possible to my buyers but you have got to stick by your word once in a while.

yeah that was me, sorry about that. I was originally going to get a newer CRF, but I was short on money, so I was going to get yours. Then I sold my quad, so i had a little bit more money to spend on a bike. We got a really good deal on a 2005 CRF450 with about 10 hours on it, and we are kinda friends with the previous owner, so my dad financed that. The previous owner is the owner of my local honda dealership, so the bike was completely serviced after every ride. Also, I have a couple friends that might be looking to get dirtbikes, ill ask them and see if they would be interested in yours.

So, anyway does that mean I am out of the running for this bike too???

No your not out of the running. Cool that you were able to get a newer bike also. This 500 I have is in great shape for a 89 but you wanna be hangin on and is really not for beginners. As far as the top end goes I am not sure it has ever been apart. The 500 internals seem to last longer than the smaller bikes.

well the bike looks to be in great shape for being all original. Im making that 450 a race bike, so ill be looking for a bike to take some hours off of that and run in some open trails. The 500 would be good because it has the power of the 450 with out the high dollar maitinance of the 4 stroke valve train. Ill have to see because i am selling my bike this upcoming weekend, and will have about 1500 to spare after paying off the 450. Im either going to buy a trailer, or another bike. I'll let you know in a day or so.
