in the lastest issue of dirtwheels they covered the new yamaha banshee. its a 500cc four stroke two cylindar, of nothing but screaming power.

QUAD is deffently the best magazine out there IMO. Dirt Wheels is good to a extent but they seem only like the newest thing out there even if it isn't the best. I have 2 atricles from them 1 year apart almost the same quads in the article. I think it was KQ 700, Bomb 650, Rubicon and something else. KQ won the first year and this year the KQ is dead last?:confused: Not many changes were made to the quads and the KQ was accually upgraded:ermm:

BUt that 500cc banshee is fake, but I have herd that yamaha is testing something similar

yea but in past years they havnt dedicated a cover story and a 6 page story to a prank. it says the picture is a collection of eyewitness acounts so it sounds fake but this is the biggest they have gone.

they have come up with all kinds of stuff... back in 01 or 02, they said honda was coming out with a 750 to compete with the raptor... it was 3- 250 cylinders...

yea i know didnt they say one year honda was bringing back the 250 r. i remember some dude being pissed cause he sold his quad so he could buy it when it came out. (hopefully he is not on here)

Dirtwheels reminds me of a comic book....good for sh**s and giggles...but I don't believe anything in it.

THE REAL DEAL IS YAMAHA IS BUILDING A 500 FOUR STROKE TWIN FUEL INJECTED QUAD, DONT KNOW IF IT WILL BE THE BANSHEE OR NOT. MY LITTLE BROTHER IS AN ENGINEER FOR YAMAHA CORP. FOR THERE MARINE MOTORS AND HE SAID THEY ARE PUTTING SOMETHING TOGETHER AS WE SPEAK BUT UNTIL IT IS ACTUALLY IN PRODUCTION THAT IS ALL HE COULD TELL ME. WHEN AND IF IT GOES THROUGH HE WILL GIVE ME ALL THE SPECKS AND I WILL GIVE A REPORT TO EVERYONE. HE SAY'S IT COULD BE THE CRAZIEST QUAD EVER BUILT AS FAR AS FACTORY HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE.
