250R +2 arms on 400...how much wider ???

Just wondering if someone could answer a question about the length of the 250R a arms compared to the 400ex. Are they the same length ?? Are the 400ex arms shorter ?? If i buy a pair of +2 250R a arms will they turn out to be almost 4 inches wider on my 400 ?? any insight would be greatly appreciated.

So then what you are saying is that the +2 250R a arms will make the 400 roughly 2 inches wider than a stock 400 ?

with +2 it would make it somewhere around 4in wider
