Ok, I got my cylinder and piston on last night. Today I plan to put the clutch and the head on, and put the engine in the frame. Hopefully it will be done today.

What kind of break in should I do for the following?

-406 10:1 Wiseco
-PE Clutch Basket
-Tusk Clutch Kit
-crf450 cam chain

Thanks

start it up, check for leaks

let it warm up, don't let it just idle, but vary RPM but don't rip on it. just kinda put around the yard.

once up to operating temp, ride it like ya stole it. wind out the gears, vary RPM's , wind it out.

Ditto,
I used the ride it like you stole it on my 440. I just tore it apart last night to install the new head I got ported and clean the cylinder and re-ring it since I had it that far apart. The piston and chamber looked like it only had 2 months on it and its been 2 years. Vary the RPMs and dont settle in one gear.
