Alright i was riding my quad and it started puffing a white smoke, thick white smoke. so i parked it and let it run for a little bit, it was still puffin smoke. so i went over hoping it was just crap in the pipe and it would just burn off. I went over and reved it up a couple of times and then KERPLOOP it died and locked up. i do believe its the timing chain. Now my question is how hard is it take the motor apart to look and see what needs to be fixed. also would it be easier to take the whole motor out and tear it apart or would it be easier to take the plastics and the tank off to get just the head and crap off. and one final question, does it sound like it could be the timing chain or do you all think its more drastic than that?
