jetting...

i wanna jet my carb for my 02 400ex
i have the stage 2 dinoijet kit, k&n airfilter
cfm aluminum airbox, cdi on order and white brothers E2 exhaust
the exhaust says
MAIN: 165
PILOT: stock
NEEDLE POSITION: stock


What are all the other positions and jet sizes and do i also need to change the main because of all the other parts

maybe someone can help me????

Start with what it says and do a plug check.
Probably wouldn't hurt to start 1 or 2 sizes bigger on the Main just to be safe.

The spark plug will tell you everything you need to know.

White = BAD/ lean
Black = to rich
Tan = just right

put in a 42 pilot, that will help on the cold starts then try a 165 or a 170 main, needle in the 3rd slot from top, and 3 1/2 turns out on the fuel screw.
