Air filter?

I just got a stock 450r and want to know what kind of difference a UNI air filter will make if any? Or a Moose air filter! I've heard not to use K&N.?!

will make a minimal difference keep the stock air filter and always use a foam filter if possbile

What do you mean by foam filter?

Stock, Uni, or Twin Air. Some people have luck with a K&N, and others don't. K&N isn't a foam filter. I just run a stock air filter, and have an extra on hand in case it gets real dirty and don't have time to clean it, or need to swap out in a race.

I recently switched from a K&N to a UNI and i will never look back. I noticed no drop in power and it filters sooooooooo much better.

I use KNN's on all my quads and use the outerwear's as well. That stops 99% of the dirt.
