Opinions please...Ds 250 or Blaster or 250Ex?

Which one do you think is the best for jumps and what not,Right now i have the Ds 250 but i am going to get another four-wheeler and i was wondering what to get.

a blaster or 300 ex or even a 400ex. how old are you and how big?

im 14 5'11 127 pounds

But im pretty good at riding,biggest jump ive done was a 16ft. double.never been around anything bigger,ive been riding for about 6 months

yeah a 400ex or a z400 would fit you nicely
or even a 450r.

I'd really look into a decent 400ex, it woulnd't be too much for you and you can upgrade it easily as you get older and your skill level increases.

I believe the 250ex would be better than the ds you have, but it's still not the best. Don't get me wrong, you can beat and beat on the 250 endlessly and it will still run as strong as the day you got it, it's just that there are a lot of quads out there you can almost get for the same price that are much better. A 400ex would probably suit you if you would like a clutch. Unless the blaster is somewhat modded it's really not to much better than the 250ex. My friend bottoms out on jumps with his blaster a lot more than I do on my 250ex. The blaster is slightly faster stock than the 250ex, but once you put a good pipe on it it's way faster. A 300ex is an "inbetween" quad and like the 250 you can grow out of it. That's why I say get a 400ex or Z400, they are fast stock and handle great.

well i was looking at a 2002 400ex but i figured it wouldnt be as good as a new smaller quad but ill probably go with that....heard they were good for jumps

getting back on topic, i think you should go with a 400ex because, it seems perfect for you. It a great size, and is better in the trail than most quads, and is just a great overall atv.

you can out grow a 300ex?i thought they were pretty big,then again only 50cc bigger than the 250.....

i think this is the first time i fully agree with you. the 400ex seems to fit exactly what you want. theres plenty of power, but not enough to really intimidate you. it'll still keep you happy for many many years.

well im not the fatest but im only 5'10 and i weigh 132,checked today thanks to you guys :)
