Gas Tank Disassembly help

Hey guys, Im trying to disassemble my on/off/ reserve vavle on my gas tank because when it is on the on position no fuel comes out, I can't seem to get the valve off the tank though, I unscrew the 8mm nuts but it just spins. I need some help! Thanks guys.

try and put a small pair of vise grips on there and spin and pull at the same time. There stripped. They should come out then.
