no diesel engines outlast the body of a truck, a deisel engine can run for more than 400,000 miles if you take care of it

100,000 is nothing to a deisel engine. i belive they break in right around 100 to 150,000 and the average is probably like 300,000. though if you dont maintain it im sure it could go alot quicker

100,000 Is still alot of miles. The motor can last easily abother 1-200,000 miles. But like someone else said, the body will be shot before you will need to replace the motor in most cases.

100,000 is nothing for a deisel, Most will last around 500,000 before any major work has to be done. Ive seen well over 600,000 miles.

The body will has nothing to do with miles, Age is what gets the body but Ford, Chevy, and Dodge all have a double wall edge that will take a long time for rust to harm. (late 90's +)

Drive train will last a long time if you keep everything lubed.

Many of your 3/4 ton trucks and larger will go through about 3 transmissions before the motor goes.

Good luck
