motion pro twist throttles

this is about the different twist throttles they offer...i am using the turbo twist right now, which has a pulley type, dirt bike style twist. well the new carb i am going to is only listed with the cr pro twist throttle. this is a straight pull twist. what i am wondering is, am i going to notice a difference, is one better than the other, is the cr pro ok to mx with? any thoughts on the two really...

I would imagine its the ratio of how much it pulls and the size of carburator it can open. I always had turbo's also. The terry cable daul gasser I have is a 1/4 turn. I know the AG has a 1/2 turn and cr pro and vortex is like a 1/4 turn.

alright, i guess that would be better than, at least to me... u wouldn't have to bend your wrist all the way to get full throttle...

but it comes at a loss of control over the throttle. the longer throw, makes for easier throttle control. The short throw is very easy to stick wfo. It requires alot of control.
