hot start?

ive been looking around for carbs, espcially 450r carbs and have been wondering, wat is a hot start button,i ve heard of it in dirtbike mags, but they never really explanied, i think they are both for four and two stroke, my friends bike died on him and he went to start it and when it didnt he said something bout a hot start

the button just controls a cable down to the carb, like it says its for hot starts it does the opisite of a choke it leans out the conditions in the carb to make "hot starting" easier
