So where can I get a new battery for my 2006 R? I really don't want to buy from the dealer, but I want a good quality battery. I let die in the cold this winter and now it won't hold a charge. I guess it is shot after less than one year.

Funny how my 2001 400 had the stock battery in it when I sold it in 2006. No problems!!

Right, I wish I would have just got the kicker in the first place but that still doesn't answer my questoin and I can't see how that would be cost effective for me at this point.

if you race then you should ge a kicker but if you dont race then get a new battery some where because my dad get so tired tryin to kick his 04 450r

I,m taking my 06 in for the recall stuff monday.While I was there scheduling that I said somthing about the battery going dead he said they can run it on thier charger that would remove any "memory" or anything else and bring it right up to when it was new .If this doesnt work he said he'll give me a new 1 free.Cant beat that:D

I still haven had one single problem with my E-start! It's been a year now and it's been rejetted with the lid off using stock pilot and a CRF450 Needle and a 170 main. Starts in less than 1 second on the button. Just hopes it stays that away.

Thought I would let ya kno what happened with my battery at the dealer ship. ROTTEN BASTA@#$S:mad: I drop it off they do the recall work I ask about the battery charge and they said they forgot to do it.It'll take 2 hours.I said to forget about it and just give me a knew 1..... Well we cant do that. its not covered under warranty....You said you would give me a knew 1 if.....Well we cant do that.I'm thinkin to my self just punch him in his lyin pie hole and leave...The service tech came in and pulled me out,Told me put it on a trickle charger for a couple hours and it'll hold charge when i'm not riding take it in the house to keep it warm and charged.When I bring it in for the first service in acouple weeks he'll sneak a knew 1 in it that hes already got it hid in the shop:devil: So I looked in through the window at the service manager...smiled ,waved and walked out the door.
