oil leak

Ok so i bought a built motor off ebay thing runs great. The only problem is one of the valve cover bolts is stripped and is leaking oil out from that corner of the cover any ideas on a easy fix for it. Thanks Denny

Only real fix would be to drill it out and put a helicoil in. Not sure how deep the threads go but a longer bolt may be a temp fix until you need to pull the motor apart.

Ok so i am going to remove the cover this weekend and repair the oil leak but i also noticed some valve noise how and where can i get info to adj the valves. Thanks Denny

that cover being loose could make the valves loose so i would fix the bolt 1st then go from their.

I would hope that this isn't a newly "built' motor if it has those problems.

I was told it had no more than 10 hours on it but i am starting to wonder cause know i am starting to here a slight knock but i am not sure if this is a issue because it is not jetted right yet jets are on back order and i am running a 450r carb so i think i got hosed
