qwadwanter...if you are looking for that bumper...get a hold of pappy and get one of his that is already powdercoated in any color you want...you can do it with the "horns" polished...here is a pic of my '06 with a fire red bumper on it...the horns were supposed to be polished, but he accidentally pc-ed the whole thing...i am about to send it back to him to do it up the way i wanted it...

I actually bought it through my friends motorsports shop. I get everything at his cost. The fit and finish is excellant! This bumper is nice when you get stuck because it's wide enough for two people to lift the quad out. The top of the bumper also has a nice place to store a tow rope just incase you ever need it.

Those bumpers look awesome. The only thing I don't like about them is those bull horns can get caught up in crap when you are racing such as vines and junk. Not good.

quadwanter,

Rocky Mountain Atv sells them for $93.00 for the brushed finish and $114.00 for the black. I agree with speedyquad, you should call pappy and see if he could hook you up with a pc'ed one.

i bought mine from pappy, it was 99.95 shipped and pc-ed

sounds good....my stock bumper went to crap when i went 3rd gear into a tree lmao...but it did its job nothing was damaged but that (broke all the welds and everything haha). I'll have to ask pappy how much now. Im thinkin a black one with black plastic would look pretty good. Might be to much black though...hmmm choices

I was planning to get mine pc'ed flat black along with the rear grab bar and my arms. How do you think that would look?

02-22-2007, 08:54 AM
it would look real good, but stock a-arms can't be pc-ed

the little part at the top of the bumper where you said you could put a rope...is that enclosed or opened on both sides you just have to wrap it around. Also how heavy is this compared to a stock bumper, i know the prm summit bumper is not much heavier at all and it is huge. thanks guys

The opening is at the top and the rest is inclosed. I can fix the tow strap in tight enough where I don't need to strap it in. I don't remember how heavy the bullhorns are compare to the stock bumper. I'm assuming it's a bit heavier due to the size difference and the thickness.

the bullhorn weighs in at 4.5 lbs and here is the back of it:

Speedy,

I didn't realize you can't PC the stock a-arms. Why is that?

02-23-2007, 11:22 AM
the ball joints are pressed in, they are unremovable...
