Found a 435 Kit on Ebay.

Guys, I found a sweet kit on ebay that consists of:
435CC BOLT ON BIG BORE KIT 400EX This bolt-on 435cc big bore kit features all the parts necessary to increase your engine displacement to the largest reliable engine size. Kit includes a professionally sleeved and bored cylinder, 11:1 compression 88mm Wiseco Hi Performance piston kit, Stage 1 Hot Cam and head and base gaskets $$350.00

I already have a stageII hotcam.

sounds great other than that is only a 426 kit. 88mm is a 426 big bore, not a 435. 435 is 89mm, but commonly called a 440. a true 440 is 89.5mm.

Well dang it. But still sounds pretty sweet right? How much difference will it make? I am happy right now with the power I am producing, but more power is always better!!!!

it will be a noticable difference. i run a 426 11:1 with a stage 2 hotcam and love the power.

I found that kit on ebay a few weeks ago and email some questions to the seller. It doesn't come with heady duty head studs, fyi. The part that really concerned me is he could never give me an answer on how he came up with 435cc. As Under said, 88 comes to 426, where does 435 come from? Just some info I came up with cuz I was considering the kit while I had my motor apart.

Try and find a kit with the hd studs and the 426 and they arn't trying to either rip you by saying its a 435 or just don't know what they are talking about.
