86 TRX250R Fuel Enhancer or Additive for More Power. Which One?

My 86 TRX250R is pretty much on its last leg. I think I need to get the top end redone. It blows a lot of smoke when I start it up or I'm waiting for the flag to drop. I'll check the compression on Saturday. I have been running AMSOIL Dominator Synthetic Racing Oil. I'll switch the Two Stroke Oil this Saturday also.

My question, is there an additive or fuel enhancer that I can mix with the fuel to increase power? Something that will not blow up this old war horse. The engine is stock and has never had any work done on it, so I don’t think it can handle anything too harsh.

Simply put... NO. Rebuild the top end

........... if the compression isnt there to require the added octane of an additive or fuel then it is pointless.

if you engine has suddenly/recently started to smoke considerably more than it has been it is a possibility that the crank seal is going, the float needle isnt shutting off the fuel or bad/old gas.
