I was wondering the same thing. The lower ball joints are removeable so the a-arms can be powdercoated. The upper a-arms don't have removeable ball joints, so he baked the upper ball joints.

to tell you the truth i didnt ask him if he took the upper ball joints out, but they move around fine, its not like they're stuck in one place or anything.
