would a sparks timing key work ok with a hotcams stg 1, k&n, big gun full exhaust (rejetted), stock compression and bore, and stock ignition?

Would there be a noticable difference? any rejetting needed? will i need to run higher octane? is it an easy install? any downfalls like hard starting etc?

ive read a few threads on here and it sounds like it would be ok just double checking.

thanks

I did not rejet once I installed my Spark Advance Timing Key. A stage 1 cam is O.K. A hi-flow filter and exhaust will not prevent you from installing it either. I wouldn't do any other motor mods with the new key installed.

how was the power/torque gain? worth 20 bucks?

It's a low end gain. It idles better and has a snappier throttle response. It's worth $20.00. It's the cheapest upgrade you can buy.

did you guys' case gaskets hold up or do i need a new one?

Unless your quad is brand new, the gasket will not hold up. Mine tore in several places. Just go ahead and buy a new gasket and have it standing by before you even start the job. You'll most likely need it.
