UPS Brought me something too!

Sure it's not a cool as pappy's new toy ;) , But I got something today too!

I picked up some Tag bars and clamp last week and needed somewhere to put my Gas cap vent tube thing :p . So I decided to buy a little billet shorty vent. Then a day after I bought that I Stumbled across a deal I couldnt pass up. A Tusk Billet Gas cap with Billet vent for $24!!! :eek2:

I got it from Rocky Mountain ATV (rocky mountain) . They have them in back and Red too.

looks good man, but jerry will tell you they mess up your quad! if your quad wont stop for some odd reason, take off that cap, and it will start up. I learned the hardway and had to miss the 1st moto of my first ever race becasue of that damn cap!:o

Probably a vapor lock. That's only if the vent isn't working right.

yup when i had my 250ex the vent hose flew off i couldnt find it i put a piece of duct tape over the vent ( this was my first quad i was retarded) and we were riding i shut it off it wouldnt start at all my friends like take ur cap off fired right up.

I bought a Gas Cap vent tube too from rocky mountain, I got the Clarke fireball one. Here's a pic

My gas cap is clear on top so you can see how much gas you got without taking the cap off. :devil:

Looks good. I have had bad luck with the gas cap thing too. It was actually pretty dangerous, Id be riding, most of the times fast and my quad would just die. Luckily it wasn't during mx season.
