Thinking of getting one.

Anyone race them or ride them? They look like a blast.

What is some good brands?

i ride a crf50 (to stunt on)

I would stick to something honda (more expensive in the long run, but the will last FOREVER)

A few brands to also look out for is SDG, and THUMPSTAR - they make 110cc's with discbrakes and such... but they are kind of finicky until you get all the nuts and bolts tight -

I would definitely recommend one - me and my buddy went out causing chaos today in between class - we rode about 6 miles into the city, and then ate lunch and rode back

btw - a guy i know has a stock geometry 50 with an 88kit - all i can say is WOW, its silly...

i have never rode one, but i have heard good things about them... Honestly - ive even rode a chinese 110cc off ebay, and if you will take a few days and go throught and tighten everything up, and make sure everything is adjusted right - then they are just as good as anything else as well...

EVERYTHING will come loose on them tho (even spokes) :eek2:

goodluck with your hunt, and let me know what you choose.

I use to have a 2005 CRF50, mostly done with BBR parts and some other little things, had tons of money into the thing, then it got stolen.:(

i bought a 2003 xr70 for $150 (bought it from a hocky player that knew **** about it and it didnt run) and rode it all summer. deffinitly a blast until spokes start to break lmao. i sold it though for $650 to help buy my cr.

if you want to jump - i would go for a bigger KLX 110 or crf 70... However for wheelies (all i use mine for) i wouldnt trade my 50 for anything... a 50 is actually the hardest thing to learn to wheelie (in my experience) and once you can ride a wheelie for as far as you want on a 50 - you can on anything. I have an xr 80, and i must admit it is fun to mess around on - but i NEVER could circle, and do coasters until i rode my 50...

Pitster pros are good....I have the x2r modle...Havnt had any problems and weve been beating them for about a month and half now...You just gotta change the oil and keep an eye on the normal stuff that would come loose
