Basically like the title says, I've gone all the way up to a 220K, Will leaving it on and not plugging the hole cause the bike to run really lean? Any input would be nice:blah:

i left mine on and im runnin a 180k main,48K pilot(stock),and 4th notch up on the needle and 3 turns out on the A/F screw..its still runnin a little lean but i think a bigger pilot jet would do it and maybe step up the main on more...but anyway is the bike boggin at all and when in the throttle range is it boggin?whats ur pilot jet and needle and a/f screw set at?ill be able to help u out more with more info.....and make sure there is no leaks in the intake boot cause that would do it too.

Well I dont think there are any leaks, because I didnt cut it to fit, I boiled it and stretched it :blah: pilot is 48, needle is in stock position. It seems like its hitting the rev limiter at like 1/4 throttle, but when you go up in size with the jet the popping or whatever gets higher, which leads me to believe that it is runninng lean. It will start and idle perfectly though. Could it be the needle hondaracer? maybe a position down? It's not bogging like its rich, I know what thats like, It seems to sorta pop like its starved for fuel but I went all the way to a 220:rolleyes: It's really starting to make me pissed

Mine did the same thing, I went from the middle clip all the way rich to get it to run right. I could not even get into the main with the way mine ran. John
