Holeshot HD tires?

I have Holeshot HDs on my 450. What tire pressure should I run? I am running about 1.5 right now, is that too low? Should I run the same in the front and back? Can anyone give me a good starting point?

Not sure but as thick as those things are you dont' need air. :p

It should say the max air pressure on the side of the tire. I always check the manufactures recommendations and adjust the pressure (usually a little lower) for the type of terrain I'm riding on.

1.5 is WAAAAY too low. You need to run no less then 4lbs and I would recommend running between 5-6lbs depending on conditions. You'll trash your sidewalls in no time running them that low.

I run about 4 and a half pounds in my rear hds.

I run 3.5 in mine. I'm on my second set and no holes in the sidewall. The sidewalls on the HD's are so thick and stiff, it's not necessary for a lot of air.

I ran 3.5 in mine, got a hole season and the 12 hours of America, usually about 5 or 6 in the front to obsorbe the harder impacts, , Z.

I run 4 in the rears. Raced 2 series last year and a 6 hour. Plenty of tread left.

the hd has a long tread life compared to some of the other holeshot tires

ive had my rears for about a year and a half now, 4.5 psi in them. only hole was from my brothers pit bull, haha. got the 23 inch fronts about 6 months ago and ran 7 PSI in them.
