help with bars on er

i am putting a set of pro tapers fat bars on my er and i need ideas on where to put key switch. is there any thing out there to mount the key and indicators to. post picks if you have them of where yours is located.

trailtech makes some stuff to mount your key and lights,Real nice looking but pricey.I went the cheap route.I just drilled holes in my hood for the key in the middle and light on either sideI hope you can see this other guys have done the same thing but they have better pics maybe they'll post em for ya.

zip tie it to the frame by the stem....stayed there and never caused me a problem. looks clean too.

Yes, the Trailtech unit is nice. Raises the bars some and comes with the dashboard for the temp gauge and key.

i think that Rox has a cheaper version of the trail tech. but, i don't think it works with fat bars.

i made my own key holder out of flat stock metal----- attached it to my houser stem -- i made it into a u shape-- with holes the same size as the steering stem bolts and place it between the stem clamps and the aluminum tops of the bushings and then cut a hole with a slot in it for the key at the rear-- looks very neat--- i will take pics and post tonight--

^^^^ please do take a pic of that I was thinking of doing something like that in the machine shop at my college. I would like to get an idea of how to start and what looks good. Did you mount either of the lights??????

no i didnt mount any of the lights-- i race motocross so i dont need the lights------ but i am trying to attach pictures of it for you--

i cant figure it out-- i need help-- my picture size is to big even though i cropped it ????
