A couple of the guys at work today were saying they add Mystery Oil in w/ every time they fill up there bikes. They said it lubricates the top end. They sound pretty convinced of this, and have been riding since I was in diapers (as they put it)Any thoughts on this?

I remember being told something about the mystery oil, and I heard that it doesn't work. The restore engine additive however does work.

Adding it to the fuel, won't make the clutch slip. ;) Mystery oil is a very good oil. I have seen engines that had the rings seized to the cylinder walls become free by putting a little MMO in the plug hole, and soak awhile. On a four stroke, the most its gonna do, is make it smoke a little. I wouldnt run it .

i have used in back in the day on my 87 200 Honda. I use to road ride at WOT a lot. the thing still runs today. it has to have 100000 miles on it by now and has never been rebuilt.

Thats because its a honda, not because of Mystery oil. We just sold our 86 350 4x4 that we had since new, and it still ran on original everything!!! Only thing changed was the air filter once because mice chewed through it. In the 5 or 6 years that I rode it I remember the oil being changed twice.:eek2:
