What kind/size/type of plug are you guys running?

I am running a 115 main jet with the clip in the next to last position on the stock carb. I run Klotz R50 mixed at 40:1 with VP 111 race gas.

thanks,

What's the difference b/w a BR8ES and BR8EG?

Pulled the carb off and cleaned it out tonight, cleaned the air filter, and put it all back together and the thing wouldn't start. I went out and bought both types of plugs and it still won't start.

Don't know where to go...

BR8EG is a little better plug. Heat range is the same but the smaller electrod produces a cleaner spark. The plug cap on the Apex should be replaced with a antivibe NGK '' all rubber''one. AS far as running check the spark . If you have none start cheking connections.

I have spark, laid it over on a metal surface and saw the spark plug fire

It's very easy to bend the float when removing and installing the float bowl on a stock carb. Check this and make sure its right. The float arm should be parallel with the gasket surface.

Turn fuel on and slowly remove the bowl nut (17mm) and see if gas comes out then you will know if the float is stuck. If you have fuel and spark keep kicking it should start.
The bikes with the reverse intake have a problem flooding out. If it dosent start after 4-6 kick pull plug out see if its wet if so take a blow gun blow out cyl through plug hole clean plug reinstall plug.
