i got a denton steering stablizer off ebay and i don't know how to mount it can somone please show me a pic of theres on the ex

here is a pic of mine....when you mount it make sure your bars are strait and there is close to the exact same length on the shaft showing...if not you will not be getting full use to both sides

btw my mount spun on my stem so thats why it looks like it does

edit - oh wait I see it now... thats a shot from the left side, you can see the steering stem in the back

Although I'm not mechanically inclined I like to at least do some of the easier things. I seem to always make things more difficult than they are...:eek2:

Just remember to keep the shaft travel centered with the bars straight and gently turn the bars lock to lock with out "bottoming" the stabilizer or you'll blow the seals out (like I did the first time I ever installed one) If you do that then you'll have to have your re-buildable stabilizer re-built.;)

will the stablizer help me as well? it rides good til i get to 3rd or 4th gear then the handlebars start to shake?

i bought a stabilizer recently and i had to put the thing on backwards......it wouldn't fit through the front like in the picture

The pic was a HUGE help. I just got done and I had to remove the bracket and move it. Mine was put on waayy before the Denton sticker,, near the end.
Notice where the bracket is in the pic.. closer to the T .

Mine is centered and works great.

did you guys tighten the bolts fully where the ball joints are and did you grease them before you rode?
