Finally, and it only took 7 years!!!

got this in the mail today, i shot my first bear when i was 16, and i just got the letter saying i got another tag for this fall! it took 7 years to get another one, and im going to try to take this one with a bow.

WOW I didn't know they did a drawling to determine who got a license. How long is it good for? Until you get one? Or just a year? Any pics of the one you shot when you were 16?

ill have to scan a pic of the first one i got, ill try to tomorrow, but yeah, the tags are only good for one season, then you have to wait again

i am in section A1, its the cable/ drummond area, i will be hunting in the chequamegon national forest, we do preference ponits here to, it just takes 7 points in some areas

Good luck, I think its cool that your going to try with the bow. Even though its a ways away, keep us posted on how you do when the season comes.

im goin to try to get a deer, turkey and bear this year with a bow, and hopefully i can get video of all 3!

not realy on topic but it remined me of a crazy story that hapened not to long ago in my town


Two guys where out hunting and there was a moose that was (I want to say 1000yards away?) anyways, it was barley visible. they shot once, moose disapeared then re-apeared, other hunter shot once, moose disapeaered then re-apeared, First hunter made a seccond shot. They walk over to find 2 dead moose!!! they are scared at this point so they dont touch anything and go find a fish and game officer. I think it was 2-4 officers came out to investigate and they found a 3rd moose on the bushes!!!! thats 3 moose with three bullets, the hunters where fined and licences where suspended.

That'll teach 'em to do the right thing and report it!
