Since you can't ride them at the dealerships or in real action. I'm sure there are many who have. Let's look at stock.
Honda 450R
YZ450
LTR450

Best-
Suspension
Handling
Comfortability

Overall?

Well, i'm a honda fan no matter what.I haven't rode a LTR yet.Iwould go with what ever feels better when your standing/sitting on it.

yeah i am sure the power isnt far from level through out all three i wouldnt think but the throttle curves and torque when all that comes in can make a huge diffrence in how a quad performs

stock for stock lt-r450 all the way imo good stance nice suspension you do need to dial the shocks in though they come really stiff from the factory. but all around its the best quad stock for stock right now.

it also depends on what you are trying to do

if your not going to be moding it out i would go ltr or yammaha because they probably are set up with the best stance but if your gionog to mod it at all i would go honda because imo honda makes em better

The Honda is the most powerful, with the Yamaha close behind. Then the LTR looks good. The Honda is definetly the best. Personally if it was me, then i would go with YFZ. It just fit better on me.

Everyone on here is gonna say the best Quad is the one they own. Because they wouldnt have gotten it if they thought it wasnt better than the other 2 450s.

you cant always go by what u feel most comfortible on while sitting on it at the dealer. i felt the most comfortible on the yfz, but when i rode my brothers i hated the feeling of its powerband, i didnt like the handling of the 450r, but i liked the way its power was delivered. the lt-r is all around pretty good, imo its like a combo of yfz handling and smooth 450r power, but it just wasnt for me, i liked the look and power of the honda so i got a 450r

U cant go wrong with any of them, personly i dont really like suzuki products but i belive they all have good points stock. The honda stock is the best in the woods, the suzuki is the best on the track and the yamaha is best well rounded track and trail quad. I would go with the honda if ur doing trails, suzuki if ur riding track, and yamaha if ur doing both. But that doesnt mean with aftermarket products the honda cant be competitive on the track (we all know it is) and that the suzuki cant be competitive in the trails.

That is so true. The question you should ask yourself is where are you gonna be riding? Also how much do you want to spend, and do you plan to add a bunch of aftermarket stuff or will you leave it stock. Well your in the market, you might as well wait a bit to check out the kfx450. Initial reports are good on it, will see how she holds up.

True but I rode all 3 of them before I got mine. I raced all 3 in a drag race and the YFZ was the fastest. I jump from bike to bike and who ever was on the YFZ would win everytime. So people couldnt say it might have been the driver. all was bone stock.

I have rode all three and think the suzuki has the best handling by far. The yzf dosent handle as good but has a stronger motor. Hondas seem to be a lot cheaper to start of with and cheaper to mod. In Cherry Hill, NJ they have 05' left overs for $4995. You can't beat that. I paid $4800 for my 05' 400ex. I see a lot of trx's in front in drags with the hrc kit and alot in front on the track with rebuilt shocks and wider a-arms. You can buy and mod a TRX for cheeper than the others. JMO
