I am thinking about getting a white brothers REV box, just wondering about it? Do you need to have a quad that is bored and tricked out to take full advantage of it or will it help an ALMOST stock 400? I have a White full E-series and K&N. What can I expect out of it and would it be a good investment, thank you all.

Put your money into a cam or piston. The boxes are junk.

I know on my 400 and some of my riding buddies it makes a big difference in the dunes. In the big bowls and climbs you hit the rev limiter way to much without it.

In order to take FULL advantage of it you need to do some engine work. I bought mine befor I did my 440 and couldn't tell any difference. But now that my quad makes power in the added rpms I really like it. Like BigThumper33 said, save you money for engine work!

When I got my 440 back from getting done I put the stock rev limiter back on and noticed absolutely no difference. You have to remember that the motors power is basically gone at the rev limiter. So unless you have a cam that makes more power at higher rpms then there is no sence in getting a rev limiter. Plus when you spin the higher RPM's you brake down the oil quicker meaning that you either change the oil more often or run the risk of damaging your motor.

So in my opinion spend the 100+ bucks on something else.

Thanks for the info, I believe I am going to get some air scoops instead.
