is it possible/legal to get a Honda 400ex street legal in the state of florida?

if yes, how much would it cost for accessories/which parts would i need (i.e. mirror and such)?

i don't see why not a street leagaled quad is basicly a croch rocket on 4 weels in my opinion..... u will need dot aproved road tires and a metal gas tank....

I saw a street legal Warrior a few years ago in a magazine. I don't know what state it was is, but I think it was registered as a motorcycle sidecar. It would be cool, but I'd prefer something like 1000cc's instead of just 400 for the road.

i think it will be relly hard to get the dmv to do it

Here in AZ the only items required are:

Headlight,
Taillight,
Brake Light,
Horn,
License Plate Light,
Any mirror that allows rear view...

Tires and gas tanks are not required here.

Yeah the guy who did it in the mag said it was a huge PITA and that he gets pulled over all the time. He's recieved tickets for missing valve stem covers, just because the cops didn't like it on the road.

I would say , explore your DMV website to see if its legal.

up here they would consider it illegal b/c they say that a street legal machine must either be a car/ truck or a motor cycle which includes 2-3 wheels
