i have a portable DVD player and wen i put the disc in it just says "loading" and it sounds like its tryin 2 read the disc. It wont actually play the movie it just stays on that screen. Any1 know the problem?

I know nothing about these kinds of thing but did you try cleaning the disc?

So DVD players won't play certain types of DVDs. Try a couple diffrent movies and see if it works then.

word up. my step moms old expolorer wouldnt play my damn burned dvd's so i had to watch butterfly affect for 4 hours straight.

if youve tried a cleaner and other movies as well, then i suspect its the optics (reading eye) out of alignment..
happens to all mass produced optical readers eventually.. not worth trying to get repaired outside of the above suggestions.. (like a playstation for example..)

if all else fails, just add water... repeat as necessary
