Hello , a buddy of mine is wanting to put the kibble white valves in his crf450 , Question is can he run his stock valve springs with the new valves ? The kibble whites are gonna be the steel ones not titanium like stock . Thanks

I see no reason why he couldn't use the stock springs just as long as the cam is stock. (stock springs are not enough for a high lift cam)
Also, I would make sure the valve seats were reground. Otherwise, you will be worse off than now. The new valves will not properly seal on worn seats. Then just lap the two surfaces together and adjust clearance when done.;)

He must use a heavy duty spring with those heavier steel valves. The stock springs won't be able to control the KW valves, besides if his stock valves are worn out chances are so are the cheap stock springs.
