What would cause no spark

On my 400ex i got it running now, but i pulled the plug to see if i was getting spark im only getting spark ever 2 secs, and it was not like that before, Could it be the spark plug boot, or the whole coil? any way to test it out?

will out spending more money on a coil

So,is it running now? I believe the spark is every other revolution, it should spark on your compression stroke, I think...lol

It was running flawless then i stalled and tryed to start it back up and nuthing?

so i pulled the plug and im not getting enough spark, yes i know about the stroke but it seems like too long in between sparks?

any way to test it out

also is there wiring supposed to be coming out of the black wire that goes inside to boot or just a clean cut?
