Ok so I took my 440 out today and tried to finish jetting it. First off it is a 12.5:1 wiseco 440 kit, stage 3 cam, port & polished head, hmf sport full exaust, kn, I think taht is it. The carb is stock pilot jet 42, main 182, the clip is 4th notch down, and the idle screw is 2.5 out . My problem is at high throttle it just falls on its face(no black smoke). I have tied a 170 main, and 40 pilot and nothing has helped. My idle is a little erratic and idles kinda high, but I am out of ideas. My elavation is less than 1000'. One other thing I just put the hmf full system on and the head pipe coming out of the head is blue. If anybody can throw me some hints I would appreciate it.

Bluing of the exhaust is a sign of being lean, so i'm told. I suggest upping to a 45 pilot, and 178 main. How is the bike running in the higher rpms?

right now I have a 182mj and 42pj, and it just falls on its face at full throttle. I havent really tried to get it to upper rpms, because when it fell on its face i didnt want to tear anything up. I am going to a honda dealer for other parts and I will pick up a 45pj.

What does the plug look like?

I dont know I dont have a socket that will fit into the space, I will be taking the valve cover off tomarrow to change the gasket so I will probably pull it and check it. I am also running 100 low lead fuel if that means anything.
