honda 400ex key questio

are the 2003 honda 400ex keys mechine unique or are they generic? i lost my keys while riding in the woods. i towed it back and now i need to find a key or get a new ignition

you can get a key and a ignition from any quad i thought mine was junk so i took it off my 250ex and put it on my 400ex and it worked fine its only a plug in things

the keys for my 250 and 400 are compleatly different. pop out your ignition and take it to your dealer, theres #'s on it that they can use to cut you a new key. it cost me $10 for 2 keys
