hey, your in the wrong forum, but thats ok, I'll try and help ya out anyway, sice your already 15 and close to 16, and your a bigger built guy, I would go for the 300EX. You will outgrow the 250ex too fast, and it will end up costing you more money buying a 250ex and modding it when you are bored with stock power, than just buying a 300ex and starting off slow. is this your first quad? if it is, than a 300ex might be too much for ya also.... hmmm

I was 15 and bought a 300ex, I liked it, I rode my dads Warrior first and had a race built kx60, as you can see I had to go back to the 2-stroke.

But on a 300ex you can change gears and the 250ex has a driveshaft.

The 300ex is a great trail bike to.

Have fun with it.

i can get any size really power and throttle does not scare me at all but i would like to buy it myself or atleast put some money to it yeah know but a 300 is only 5 grand for a 07 but i may look around to see if i can get a used one for cheaper but i just want somthing that will fit me stock for a bit then as i get more power hungry i can upgrade stuff

Definetly go for something bigger than those two. The 250ex is way too small for you. The 300ex is a good size, but you will outgrow it so fast. Go for like the 400ex. It has a good amount of power and you will have fun on it for years. It is the perfect size and is the best trail bike ever. Out of your two choices though, obviously go for the 300ex. It has way more parts for it than a 250ex

my fist bike was a 300ex I didnt keep it long, if you already got the need for speed I would say keep saving and go bigger if you can handle a bigger bike. 2nd bike was a 250r the 300 didnt get rode after the R came to be. now I got a 450 yeah I converted I still like the 250r's though.

yes and no. i love my 300 so between the 250 and the 300 i would suggest getting a 300.

on the other hand if he can afford a 400ex then go for it,
as long as its a honda i dont care :D

i say try for a 400ex IMO. If speed and such doesnt bother you then go for it. I mean they are fairly quick bikes and I believe that you will have more fun on one of those over a 250ex or 300ex, plus you have tons of room to grow into the bike.

if you can handle a fast bike then go with a z400 or a 450 you can get a used one in condition for your amount of money. but if it was me i would go with a 250r best bike all around. the 300ex is still small and is been around for awhile.
