about how much is a used 450r carb?

just wondering what kind of range the prce is so i can price match

like 100-120 buck depends on if it comes with cables or not...

my buddy has one i can get for a little under 50 without cables... abotu how much are cables

10-15$ for the throttle cable is all u need.

thanks for the info...

i read i nthe sticky you need to get 450r fuel line. what size is that? all i can find is hose for sale by size and length what will i need to buy for it?

when u get the cables just buy a fuel line too from service honda...its a fuel line for a 04-05 450r carb...

Iv seen people use regular fuel line. the member Mobile Dyno on here used This clear reinforced lookin line. I would have rather used a straight one than that crocked @ss 450r one. Mine always seemed kinked kinda and i even cut a lil off of it to try to get it better. But its up to you.

i read all the stickies on them and everyone says they are worth it....i am now jsut tryin to figure out how hard/whats involved with it to see if i want to try it

Its really easy to do. I had my old carb off and the new one on including shaving down the boots w/ a dremel in a lil over an hour. Throttle cable hooked up and everything.

ok so what do i do with the hotstart? im not even sure what hotstart is(ill search it)

but do i just leave it or plug it or what?

Its been explained to me b4 and somewhere on here is a pretty good explanation but u dont need it. I just plugged mine. i suck a lil flat metal tack down in the hole so silicone wouldnt run all the way down in there and put some hightemp gasket maker silicone in there.
