Do you hav any pics of this extension? If it is pressed on you could use a grinder to get it off and then smooth out the edges. Pics would help...

They dont press on. They just slid on and then a bolt holds it on. Maybe its seized together.

its tough to get off, hit it top to bottom lighty, you will get it loosen and pull it hard. Maybe some heat on it also. When you go to put it back on, put a coating of anti-sieze on it. I beleive the kicker used for them is a mid 90's yz250. I know my crf450r one is 96 yz250 kicker.

Also I have another question. What kind of intake boot should I use? I have a 400ex frame crf motor and 450r carb.

should only be heald on by 1 bolt at the end. If its welded you will have to cut it off.

Go into your options and just turn of sigs, there's no use in trying to get people to shorten their sigs. I also got sick of having an entire page be filled with someone's sig.

As for that extension, looks like you'll need to use some WD-40 and heat to get that thing off. Just be careful not to set anything on fire with the WD.
