k$n air filter, pipe, and jetting

if you mean top speed do that and get a tooth larger fornt sprocket, this will all cost around 300 or less

ha you asked for advice and told you what you can do. Increasing the rear tire size in the 250ex is the ONLY way to make it go faster. You dont have to believe if you dont want to. The 250ex is the same as the Recon. They arent made for speed.

Dickhead, you asked for help, he gave you advice. Don't ask if you're going to be a *** about it.

You want more top speed? Get a new quad.

Forget all this piping and jetting Bull, Just go 1 bigger tooth on your front sprocket & 1 smaller tooth on your back sprocket...That will be the cheapest and most noticable for more top end...
Hope this helps ya out... might cost ya like $ 35.00 lol

Oh my bad, never new that, assumed it would be the same as the 300ex, 400ex which i have...sorry..

Well I would say sell it and buy something else... Not to be a smart *** but if you wanted something faster he probably should have bought something that's a little easier to play with...****ty deal...

If you're only 10 I wouldn't worry about it for now. Enjoy the brand new machine that you got that most kids wish they could get. In a few years when you're more experienced you can try out some of the bigger machines. When I was 10 all I had was an '84 LT185, best times of my life and that thing wasn't the fastest.
