too expensive for me too. but still a very good thing, currently in Minnesota It is impossible to register and ATV for use on the street, even with turn signals etc. If this machine comes out it could force states like MN to come up with a way to register ATVs for the street and then I could make mine street legal.:)

$15000 for something like that isnt a lot at all. a brand new motorcycle can run from anywhere in the $10000-30000 range (harleys etc) sports bikes run at around $5000-10000, so $15g's isnt expensive. a car is going to cost you around $15000 and think about how rare this spyder will be compared to a car...

its going to be sold out before you know it. its a great price and an amazing product. i'm going to convince my dad to get one :)

looks like a sled with wheels....also looks like something a butch dike would ride...or someone scared of riding a real bike!

why must all the street legal "quads" have only 3 wheels?? I think it looks ugly!

to be legal you either need 3 seats for a motorcycle or a seat with a seat belt for 4 wheels.

I rode the Can-Am Spyder on thursday ... in Richmond Va. Absolutely Awesome !!! its 51 inch front-end stance feels just right ... very predictable and precise steering ... low CG and comfortable saddle ... I put my deposit down !

Interesting.

I saw Piagga MP3 on the street a few days ago. I didn't even know they existed until I saw one driving around. Not quite the same as the Can-Am but still a "reverse" three wheeler, lol.

I just saw one of those parked in front of a bar this evening. I had no clue there was anything like that out

That little thing looks like if you were in a turn it would be on one front wheel... is that how it would work?? It doesn't look very wide.

Actually that is not an quad, it is a trike because it has three wheels, if the spyder had four wheels it would be considered a quad because of four wheels and four means "quad".

The front end moves independently side-to-side.
