Why does the chain on the R get more slack when the rear shock is compressed? I dont like how my chain came from Honda with like 3 inches of slack I went back to the .5 to .75" and when I compress the rear, it gets looser. Is this because of the linkage setup?

Id have to say its the best design for a rear swing arm.I would much rather have it loosen than tighten on compression.Dont gotta worry about snapping a chain or streching it.If your not sure where is should be adjusted to u should just compress it a little and make sure its not too loose!!!!

The swing arm would have to get longer as the shock compresses to keep the chain the same tightness :P
Nothing to do with the shock linkage.
