I have decided for my next mod i want to get a precision steering stablizer. I have 2 questions before i buy.....

1. Is it ok to use the stock steering stem?

2. Can you tell a big difference when riding MX or trails?

Thanks in advance.

Stock stem is fine. i don't know about MX but in the woods it's amazing.

Actually i didn't really notice how pricey the precision is. I really can't afford that much right now. What's the best stabilizer with the stick?

Any stick one will be good. I used PEP and Denton before.

I have the denton no rebuildable stick. I bent my stock stem with it. Also I recommend getting the rebuildable one also. My friend has the rebuildable one and it is a lot stiffer than mine. I had the WER also But it wouldnt quit leaking oil so after they rebuild it and it started leaking again so I sent it back.

I have heard that the denton dampner will make the steering stiff. Any truth to this?

a little, but thats how it dampens the movement from un wanted bumps. You get used to it real fast and if you are moving fast and your tires are toed right you dont even notice it.
