a +3 swing arm is one that is 3" longer
a 02 a arm is one that is 2 inches wider and a+2+1 a arm is one that is 2 " wider and an angled so that the hubs are placed an inch forward of stock position

And no matter what length the A-arms or swing arm are the shock mounts stay in the same spot they are not moved at less you go long travle then the shock mounts are lower.
