breaking down stock shock

is it possible to break down and put a shock back together with just regular tool if so please show me how im wantin to do it on a 300ex shock

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the stock 300ex rear shock can be rebuilt.

It can't, what is your motivation behind this, if the rear shock is wasted your going to need a new rear shock.
