Depends which Raptor you are talking about. You looking at the 660 or the 700?

the preds can stop the raptor in a drag stock for stock.the predators have better handling were as the raptor feals tippy to some people.they are both great machines and u will have to put in some seat time on both.

Yes that is a very good deal. No matter what machien you buy I would not get an 01 Raptor or a 03 Predator both have tranny problems.

I just traded in my 05 Troy Lee for a new 525. I raced my Troy Lee and rode it hard the entire time I owned it and it never had a breakdown. Everythign about the Predator is better then the 660, handling, power, suspension. The Predator is better then most in trails, heck I choose the Predator over all other quads. Start compairing features, such as e start, reverse, suspension travel, after market axles stock, braded brake lines. It is by far the best bang for your buck.

i got an 03 preddy and 05 raptor in my garage right now. Both have there flaws like mentioned. The 03 preds had the issue with the one way bearing. The bolts would back out and lock it up. Easy fix but stupid to even have to deal with it. The raptor does feel tipsy to me. My pred seems to have more pull as well when getting on. Both are nice machines but you need some seat time for yourself. I do like the preds suspension a lot better though

I know about MTI very well, I respect them still hand porting instead of CNC. My name is Bo White and Ive been porting for over a decade and love to mess with LS1 stuff:D
Is it a FAST TB or NW?
BTW, sorry for the hijack;)

I love the ls1 it is my favorite engine of all time. You can do so much to these engines. What is TB or NW?

The first thing I asked ya was if you had a ported throttle body(TB) and NW is for Nick Williams, an excelent brand of 90mm TBs(throttle bodies).
I hang out on ls1tech.com all the time:

O right, nah its is a FAST and no its not ported its just normal billet aluminum. Its nice though. That LS1 forum looks pretty hot.
